1. When is hook-and-loop badge the right choice
There is only one advantage to a hook-and-loop badge, but that advantage can be decisive in many cases: the badge becomes independent of the garment. Its practical implications are as follows:
- The garment changes, the badge stays. When the vest wears out or is renewed, the badge can be transferred to the new clothing.
- Roles and titles change. You change a single item instead of the entire uniform.
- Staff changes. The name tag is removed, a new one is attached.
- The same badge is used on different equipment. It can be transferred between a vest, bag, and jacket.
- It is removed according to the environment. It can be worn in the morning on duty and removed in the evening in civilian settings.

2. How it works
Hook-and-loop consists of two parts. The hard and hooked male side is on the back of the badge; the soft and furry female side is sewn onto the garment. When pressed together, they hold; when pulled apart, they separate.
Tactical vests, some jackets, and bags come with a ready-made female panel; in this case, you can attach the badge directly. If there is no ready panel, it is sufficient to have a tailor sew the female band once; thereafter, you can attach any badge you desire to that point.
The band itself may lose its grip over time by collecting fuzz and threads. Maintenance is simple: regular cleaning of the surface fuzz is enough. For details, you can check our badge care guide.

The size is the longest edge of the badge. If your design is horizontally extended, this edge is the width; if vertically extended, it is the height.

The price is determined by size and quantity; as the quantity increases, the unit price decreases gradually and discounts are applied automatically. The following table is for the 9 cm size, prices include VAT and are based on current pricing.

6. Frequently asked questions
I don’t have a hook panel on my clothing, what should I do?
It is sufficient to have a soft hook band sewn by a tailor once. Thereafter, you can attach and remove any badge you desire at that point.
Will the hook-and-loop badge get damaged in washing?
We recommend removing the badge before washing; both the badge and the hook band will last longer. If washed without removing, nothing will happen to the TPU badge, but the band will collect laundry fuzz.
Can I use the same badge on different garments?
You can use it; that is the main purpose of the hook-and-loop option. It is sufficient to have a female band sewn onto each garment.
Can I order a single badge?
No, at least 10 pieces are required for production from your own design.
